American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered character and leadership development program for girls 5 to 18 years of age.
AHG is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.
AHG girls across the nation and the globe participate in badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement.

AHG Basic Information
Cost: $ 40 per person...
Registration is $40 per girl all girls must be registered, plus any adults participating in meetings or outings.
$100 in annual dues to aid in costs for supply purchases, special activities, troop-earned badges and patches, etc.
FUNDRAISERS are used to help offset the dues. Approximately 95% of our scouts earn 100% of their dues through fundraising.

Registration:
Girls are allowed, per AHG, to visit two meetings before becoming official members of AHG.

Families are to purchase uniforms from

All girls are required to have a class A uniform to wear at the weekly meetings (start-up kits are the most cost effective and include the handbook).
Please note: Any white polo is acceptable under the uniform vest.
Our troop numbers are 0-2-8-9
Registered adults are encouraged to purchase red or blue uniform polos from the AHG store to wear at all meetings.

Regular meetings are held Sundays 4:00pm-6:00pm at First Baptist Church, New Haven, in the gathering space in the main church building.

Year Schedule:
We start the Sunday following Labor Day and end the first weekend in June with an Court of Honor Awards Ceremony.
Special Events include Pine wood Derby Race, Father/ Daughter Dance, Family Camp, Camporee, Summer Camp. These events may occur occasionally in place of a regular meeting.
